Attack Dog is a sick-ass DIY band from Philly who are really, really going for it on their brand new LP, "Can I Be Your Attack Dog?" There are grungy emo tracks, uptempo punk quickies, baroque piano ballads and lots to listen for outside of the standard rock palette -- cello, flute, violin and saxophone all show up on this thing. It's super ambitious and fun, with energy that reinforces your belief in the vitality of DIY rock 'n' roll.
