Omaha songwriter Carver Jones seems to do what he does effortlessly -- the 21-year-old plays guitar like a young Stevie Ray and sings with the quiet boldness of John Mayer in his prime.
He's decidedly on the come-up, cutting his teeth with his band the American Dreamers at any venue that will have them. Come catch them Saturday at Duffy's, where they'll be riffing all night long.
