Imagine a VHS-quality montage of you and your friends doing random fun things together in the summer: holding hands and skipping in a meadow, hitting a new doubles high score at the bowling alley, feeding spaghetti noodles to pigeons, perhaps. Odds are high that this sequence is soundtracked by Atlanta indie pop band Dinner Time, who, over the course of eight years and three albums, have honed the lo-fi technicolor vibe-pop that has long been popularized by the likes of King Gizz and Mac DeMarco but, until now, has never been perfected. Dinner Time, however, lean into this sound completely, and invite you to a dreamlike world where summer is forever and bliss is eternal.
They'll play Duffy's Tavern on June 23 and will be accompanied by Infielder.
