Jenny Haniver bio: In the first release since their debut album Haunt Your Own House, the Portland-based duo Jenny Haniver (comprised of Randall Taylor of AMULETS and Eric Nyffeler of Bus Gas), waste no time pushing their unique mixture of electronic post-punk and muscular post-hardcore to further extremes.
This new 7” EP features an unexpectedly brutal cover of the iconic Unsolved Mysteries theme song—a fan favorite from their live show—along with the b-side Know Body, a pulsing kraut rock bruiser. Mixed by engineer extraordinaire Scott Evans (Sumac, Kowloon Walled City, Thrice), these two songs hit harder and faster than anything else in the young band’s catalog.
